Hello and welcome to my blog. I’m an elementary school teacher-librarian who loves to share the books I have read with my students (well, what elementary teacher-librarian doesn’t?–I mean, really?) I have a Bachelor’s degree in Children’s Literature as well as a Master’s degree in Library and Information Sciences. I have worked in the children’s departments of book stores and public libraries (and a few truly outrageous jobs in between) but working in a school library is the best of both worlds. My perfect day would be sitting curled up on a super cushy couch next to a slightly open window on a rainy day with a frothy cup of homemade hot chocolate and my favorite book, The Mists of Avalon, on my lap (well, who wouldn’t want that?–I mean, really?)
